MICHAEL SWAN: RAMPING UP FOR OUR FALL ARTS GUIDE >>>

Whoa, check out the calendar. Summer is about done (boo hoo) and fall is on the way. And with the fall comes a slew of fun things to do, buy, eat, hear and more.

Stop it. You're broke. We know.

Times are hard. And we feel your pain.

Yes, we feel your pain but that’s not stopping us from producing our annual Fall Arts Guide.  It will hit the South Sound streets Thursday, Sept. 17 chocked full of dance, theater, classical music, visual arts, literary events and more.

Yes, the recession is a buzzkill for the South Sound arts scene. However, the arts community is striving to make culture affordable. We need to continue to support the local arts scene. We can’t have violinists digging around in our trash. That’s not right.

If you’re a South Sound arts organization, please send us your upcoming calendar here. We don’t want to leave anyone out.

If you would like to support the Weekly Volcano's keepsake Fall Arts Guide, and reach our powerful, niche market, contact our advertising department at 253.584.1212 or by e-mail here. If you want to help pay for an arts organization's advertisement in our Fall Arts Guide, we can help you set that up.

Look for the Fall Arts Guide in the Weekly Volcano and in your favorite hangout Sept. 17.
