Teriyaki Note No. 84

Look another teriyaki restaurant
We were just saying the other day that the South Sound needs one more teriyaki restaurant.  We got our wish.  Good Wok 2 opens soon in University Place at 44th and Bridgeport West. - Jason de Paul.

Sons take notice

Want to score the most brownie points with your mom imaginable?  Grab tickets to the Mother's Day Tea in Olympia. The folks at Fertile Ground Community Center are setting the tables for 180 May 14 from 1-3 p.m. at Heritage Fountain Park between 4th and 5th streets in downtown Olympia.  So wash your hands and get your pinkies in the air boys - this is a white linen and flowers event with finger foods, umbrellas and tents.  And cheapos - get this - it's free (of course, your mother would expect that from you).
It's first come, first serve ... good luck. - Jason de Paul

Don't Tell the ad department

Right now as I write this, on the News Tribune's Web site, right next to the horrible, terrible, strike out review they give the new Varsity Grill, is the ad for the Varsity Grill. In the sports world, they call that a bogey.  So far, we've enjoyed our meals at the Varsity Grill. -  Jason de Paul.
