Harriet is a retired businesswoman who tries to control everything around her. When she decides to write her own obituary, a young journalist takes up the task of finding out the truth resulting in a life-altering friendship.
An unlikable retiree (Shirley MacLaine) recruits an obituary writer (Amanda Seyfried) to help shape her legacy in a manipulative, contrived and at times borderline offensive comedy/weeper with a number of cringe-inducing, off-putting elements. - Two stars
