Tiffany Haddish, Queen Latifah, Jada Pinkett Smith and Regina King are consistently likable as former college best friends reuniting at the Essence Festival in New Orleans. Their actions aren't always completely believable, but even in their worst moments, their humanity shines through. - Three stars
