Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum play Schmidt and Jenko, who were opposites in high school and now, a few years later, find themselves partners in a police undercover program that enrolls them in high school. They don't look young enough, but so what? The movie cheerfully ignores the dramatic focus of the 1980s Fox series and becomes a mashup of screwball comedy, action and the Odd Couple formula. Better than you might expect. - Three stars
