Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show at Johnny's Dock Restaurant
Enjoy some Margaritaville-Tacoma style, 5 p.m.-8 p.m. Sunday, May 27.
Dave Calhoun, the Pacific Northwest's only Jimmy Buffett tribute show, will be at Johnny's Dock Restaurant and Marina (1900 East D Street). Nothing rings in summer better than the tropical sounds of Buffett, a cool drink, and maybe some oyster shooters or shrimp cocktail.
Unfortunately for us all, most forecasts say there's a fair chance of showers on Sunday.
The show will be on in the lounge of Johnny's Dock Restaurant, so you have your choice of having dinner or simply relaxing in the lounge. Depending on the weather (rain will hopefully be gone by the evening), the restaurant also has deck seating and sometimes their live musicians play out there.
Dave Calhoun is a singer-songwriter who believes in the power of Tropical Rock. While he can often be found performing Jimmy Buffett songs, he also writes and performs his own work. He lives and tours in the Northwest. He has another show coming up, June 1, at the Gig Harbor Yacht Club.
