Book Review: "The Tacoma Pill Junkies"
Tacoma resident Joshua Swainston recently published his first novel, "The Tacoma Pill Junkies." As clearly suggested by the title, the book is about a bunch of dealers and addicts who go about their business in familiar locations in Tacoma.
Exhibit highlights include a motorcycle owned by Steve McQueen, an early United Parcel Service delivery bike, the discovery of Washington's first motorcycle, the iconic Seattle Mariner machine and a look at Moses Lake's own Evel Knievel.
