The second Annual Women, Wellness, Wisdom Conference takes places at the American Lake Conference Center Oct. 3, and the event's top sponsors include USAA and Amazon Military.

The event is the brainchild of Pamela Dawne Bolado, Founder & CEO, Le Pamier Skincare Co.

"We will have over 400 military spouses, active-duty military women and female veterans coming together to celebrate the strength in sisterhood. There will be food, networking, mimosa bar, amazing speakers, giveaways and so much more," she said.

"I envisioned creating a beautiful military spouse event to help introduce my newly developed skincare collection to other milspouses in the area," she noted. "During the planning of this event, it seemed to grow larger and less about my products and solely about creating a special day for my fellow milspouses and all female servicemembers and veterans.

"That's how the Women, Wellness, Wisdom (event) came to fruition," Bolado continued. "In November 2018, I held my first conference with 200 women. I could not have asked for a more beautiful and inspiring day. We gathered, perused local female exhibitors, listened to inspirational speakers and lots of giveaways!"

Bolado has also launched a chapter of the Rosie Network and is the chapter leader for Seattle and Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM). They help guide military spouses on their journey through entrepreneurship. The Rosie Team will be at the conference.

Bolado said she found the Rosie Network very helpful as she launched her own business.

"Last year, not long after our PCS to Washington state, I felt that entrepreneurial itch once again," she said. "I had a vision for years and I knew it was time to implement that vision. I worked closely with a Canadian laboratory and launched the first collections of my skincare brand, Le Pamier Skincare Co.(LePamier.com)."

"Once the products arrived, I soon realized how much I still didn't know about business," she admitted. "Without family, friends and lack of (understanding) state business laws, I Googled and Googled and attended business workshops in Seattle. One day I came across a website which highlighted military spouse entrepreneurs and provided free entrepreneurial training. Without hesitation, I reached out to the founder of the Rosie Network, Stephanie Bronwen Brown, to see if the training was available online since the program was based in San Diego.

"Stephanie had emphasized how she had wanted to bring the program to Seattle/JBLM," continued Bolado.

Military spouses at JBLM will soon be able to take advantage of the programs offered by the Rosie Network, and Bolado encourages her fellow military spouses to attend the event.

"We have some pretty incredible giveaways again this year," she exclaimed. "Follow our Facebook page for updates and news @womenwellnesswisdomconference.
