Clover Park High School (CPHS) graduates Tiffany Gail Martin and Marcus Dion Freeman II excelled during their years at the Lakewood school. Both have military parents and thrived despite the many obstacles they faced such as frequent moves and their parents' deployments.

Tiffany Gail Martin, known by her friends as Stormy, was able to attend Clover Park High School for all four years, an achievement in itself for a military kid. Martin is a big theater buff and participated in the International Thespian Society all four years of high school. She served as the secretary for Troupe 821 as a sophomore, and her junior and senior year she was the president of the group. Martin challenged herself her senior year by taking advantage of the Running Start program taking classes at both Pierce College and CPHS. She plans to attend Eckerd College in the winter of 2019 and major in Theater. During her gap time, she is taking community classes for vocals and dance while working as many hours as possible. Further plans include martial arts and gymnastics as well.

Marcus Dion Freeman II has been busy during his high school years. His hard work and good study habits earned him honor roll and high honor roll for all four years of high school. During his high school years, he participated in the Art Club and helped design masks for the Drama Club's school play. He completed over 30 hours of community service by participating in various service projects for the Air Force including detailing servicemembers' cars with the help of family members. Freeman was awarded the John C. and Marilyn J. Dimmer Scholarship. He plans to attend East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina, and major in Fine Arts with a concentration in animation and interactive media. He also hopes to achieve a minor in Computer Science. Freeman's long-term goal is to work in the animated film industry and create stories for people to enjoy.
