Embark on a magical journey at our enchanting Salute to Military Princess and Superhero tea party where Captain America, Spiderman, Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel, Belle, and Princess Elena of Avalor, accompanied by the Fairy Godmother, await your presence. This delightful free event is proudly presented by Northwest Military - publishers of the Ranger and Northwest Airlifter newspapers - and will take place at St. Mary's Church in Lakewood, with no religious affiliation.

Dedicated to honoring the sacrifices of military families, this special day unfolds on Saturday, Feb. 24, running from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Families are encouraged to sign up for specific tea times, allowing for a more personalized experience. However, the festivities extend beyond, with open-house style games and activities also available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

As families indulge in the whimsical atmosphere, princesses and superheroes will gracefully mingle with tea party guests, sharing stories and engaging in various activities. Juice and cookies will be served during the tea, providing a delightful backdrop for learning about the characteristics and tricks of these iconic characters.

We encourage families to arrive before their designated tea time as an exciting opportunity awaits- the chance to design a magical wand or shield, enhanced by none other than the Fairy Godmother herself. The creative session kicks off at 10:45 a.m. for those with an 11 a.m. tea slot.

Beyond the enchanting tea affair, attendees can immerse themselves in nerf archery, games and crafts either leading up to or after their scheduled tea time. 

A collaborative effort with local businesses adds an extra layer of excitement bringing giveaways and prizes for the local military kids.
