Lacey Children’s Day offers supersized fun

Bring the whole family out for a full-filled day

By Ranger Staff on October 3, 2021

A favorite family  fall event returns to Lacey this  Saturday, Oct. 2  at Huntamer Park in Woodland Square in Lacey from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This event offers fun for kids of all ages!

With a theme of Superheroes, Lacey Children's Day, presented by Chick-fil-A of Lacey, promises big fun with activities, games, giveaways and more. Plus, while not required, both attendees and booth sponsors are encouraged to come dressed as your favorite superhero.

Fly down a giant slide, race other "supers" on the side by side obstacle course, explore what local businesses and organizations have to offer while playing games or making crafts. Enjoy entertainment by local youth dance and music groups and take a selfie with "real" superheroes.

While you're there, enjoy lunch or a snack with food vendors including Chick-fil-A, Sweetie's Kettle Corn, Stevee's Sweet Treats, and Kona Ice.

This popular event goes rain or shine, but be sure to bring your mask as outdoor events require face coverings for all over age five.
