With 8,000 square feet for kids to romp, run, paint, dance, create, explore, make friends and most importantly learn and grow, Discovery Village in Gig Harbor provides intellectual stimulation in a format kids can embrace. They'll think they're just having fun when really they're learning!

From single 45-minute classes ($10) to 3-hour, half day, 4-day a week summer camp programs ($149), kids ages 2 to 8 years learn about the world around them in exciting hands-on experiences like cooking (make crepes and dumplings), the magic of science (baking soda volcano anyone?), international travel (exposure to other cultures' art, food and storytelling), gardening (make herb garden boxes) and environmental awareness (decorate stepping stones with recyclable materials). Children have the opportunity to experience safe social structure with other kids, a chance to bond over discovering new things, and build friendships amidst interactive museum-style exhibits, on the monstro playground, and in the variety of classes offered. All playtime is parent and adult supervised. On-site café is a comfortable place for parents to chill while kids are in classes and it has wi-fi.

With options for drop-in classes or prepaid family membership, parents will feel good about when their kids can go and not feel guilty about when they can't.
