Chloe Clark Elementary School in DuPont is offering all runners the opportunity to pound the streets, May 22.
Register now for Explorers' Run 4 Fun 5K - a second annual program sponsored by Chloe Clark and featuring a 5K and 1/2 mile Kids Run.
The race is a fundraising event to benefit the Chloe Clark art and physical education programs. Both races will begin and end at Chloe Clark Elementary on Palisade Avenue in DuPont.
The 5K course will guide runners through scenic DuPont on both paved and dirt trails. Baby joggers are allowed on the race course, other wheeled devices are not recommended due to the dirt trails.
Same day registration and race check-in will begin at 6:30 a.m. May 22 with the races beginning at 8 a.m. You can register online using a credit card through May 14 - registering early gets you a discounted rate of $25 per 5K entrant or $10 per 1/2 mile entrant. Or register as a team - up to 10 people can form a team and register together for $200. To register, go to www.chloeclarkpta.com.
Chloe Clark is located between Exits 119 and 118 off I-5 near the Clock Tower Park and State Farm in DuPont.
