Joint Base Lewis-McChord definitely has a warm and welcoming Holiday hostess in Patti Brown.

In keeping with the holiday season, she and the Lewis Community Spouses' Club (LCSC) will host the Joint Base Lewis-McChord's (JBLM) Holiday Tour of Homes.

"We are forging a strong bond in both the JBLM and surrounding communities," the wife of I Corps commander, Lt. Gen. Robert Brown, said.

"There is so much the community does - both on and of base - for which we are very thankful."

For over the last half century, the LCSC has created and maintained outreach initiatives, welfare assistance drives and scholarship programs to help both those who live within the gates of JBLM and the military connected neighbors residing in the surrounding communities.

"We are inclusive; we are very thankful to be working with our sister services and with the community.  All are welcome to attend," Brown reiterated.

The tour will be on Friday, December 7 from 4 to 7 pm and Saturday, December 8 from 3 to 7 pm.  Tickets are $15.

Over 16 homes in JBLM's historic Broadmoor area will be open for base personnel and the general public to visit and enjoy the holiday decorations.

"Our home, Quarters 1, will be open," Brown added.  "Even if people have to dodge a few raindrops, we hope they will come out and enjoy the sense of togetherness at this time of the year."

The tour begins at the LCSC's Cottage, which is located at 4201 West Way.
