The People's Choice Award is ready for you to vote. We are looking to honor one of 10 families with a two-night trip to the Great Wolf Lodge sponsored by the USO-Puget Sound Area, Massage Envy, and The Ranger and NW Airlifter newspapers.
All of this makes best sense if you've already looked over the 10 profiles published this week in The Ranger and NW Airlifter newspapers (Feb 23 issue). You can find the papers at newsstands all over the South Puget Sound area. To see the stories online, please click HERE.
For several weeks, we asked military families in the Puget Sound area to tell us why they deserved a VIP vacation with their family for two nights at The Great Wolf Lodge. The response was amazing. Hundreds of people sent in 100-word stories telling us about their lives as military families and what a two-day vacation would mean to them. If we could, we would choose everyone. We only have five vacations to give away. A committee representing the sponsors are busy choosing four of the five winning families. The fifth family we are leaving up to you.
These are amazing stories, and we don't envy you having to choose one that best represents the ten. But we hope you will cast your vote no later than Wednesday, February 29 at 10 a.m.
We need everyone to vote, but please, only one vote per household. We will name the winner of the People's Choice Award, along with our other four winners, in the March 1st issues of The Ranger and NW Airlifter, as well as online at northwestmilitary.com, and on our Northwestmilitary Facebook page. We wish all of the following families the best of luck, and thanks to all that entered, and thanks for trusting us with your stories.

I vote for the McKinnon family because they never stop thinking of others, and with that said, regardless of the need no matter what maybe of their own dilemma they will be there. They are a great family who definitley could use a wonderful vacation such as this!
