From Tacoma to Seattle, great venues

By Cassandra A. Fortin on August 26, 2010

Constructed with 1.6 million board feet and 24,541,382 cubic feet of concrete, the Tacoma Dome is one of the largest wood domed structures in the world.

At 530 feet in diameter and 152 feet tall, the dome arena and exhibition hall is used for everything from Washington Interscholastic Activities Association high school sports, family shows, tradeshows and major concerts.

However, the Tacoma Dome is just one of several concert venues within a 50-mile radius.  There are venues for about any type of music - jazz, rock, pop, hip-hop, country and classical music.  The concert venues range from arenas, concert halls and theaters to auditoriums, night clubs and casinos.

Looking for a place to attend your favorite musical concert? Check out the list below for some venues.
