Members of the Armed Forces are cordially invited to the play, Divorce, Southern Style, put on by Puyallup’s oldest community theater troupe, Spotlight Players.
The play will be held at Christ Episcopal Church in Puyallup. Military members can enjoy the theatre’s Military Appreciation Night on Wednesday, Nov. 18. The event is free of charge to all active duty military personnel and members of their immediate family.
Written by playwright Jennifer Jarrett in 1998, the play puts a new twist on divorce. In need of cash to support her lifestyle, Eleanor Bander, the main character, tries to lure her wealthy ex-husband to the family home for reconciliation. A wildly funny, face-paced farce, Divorce Southern Style has pleased audiences around the country.
