The Ranger, Airlifter, JBLM Living newspapers,, along with USAA, are hosting TWO parties, Dec. 2 and 9, inviting all military families to enjoy not only a holiday party with treats, crafts and fun, but also a bunch of kid friendly games with hundreds of prizes including free passes to Fantasy Lights in Spanaway.

As part of the organizers annual free holiday parties for local military families, this year's focus is on brining military kids together to win restaurant gift cards, Monster Jam tickets, passes to local holiday shows including The Nutcracker, Singing Christmas Tree and Handel's Messiah, zoo and Monorail tickets and much more.

"We love to salute military families during the holidays, and putting smiles on the faces of the kids is our main goal," said Ken Swarner, publisher of The Ranger newspaper.  "This year, we have checkers tournaments, BINGO, pin the nose on the snowman, a Rudolph ring toss, prize walk and more."

The games are fashioned to be accessible and easy for all ages.  At the prize wheel this year will also be chances to win over 300 family passes to Fantasy Lights, Pierce County's premier holiday drive-thru light show, plus tons of single game passes to see the Tacoma Stars indoor soccer games.

"We also have VIP game packs to the Stars too," Swarner said.

There are also special guests this year.  In Bremerton, there is a whole team of recognizable princesses coming to pose for pictures, as well as Santa Claus.  Santa will also be at the Lacey location.  At both locations, a team of balloon twisting clowns will delight the kids, too. Also in Lacey will be a large area with a bunch of inflatable slides and bounce houses.
