For those looking to make holiday gifts composed of tactical or gun gear, Quantico Tactical and Tactical Tailor are businesses worth checking before harnessing the reindeer to the sleigh.

Both stores are ready for Christmas.

"We're stocked up on all our popular items, as well as many new ones," wrote Tyler Hobbs, Tactical Tailor's director of marketing and logistics, in an email. "We're ready for Christmas."

Dasher, Dancer and Prancer pawed with delight when they heard that.

But Santa's other reindeer - Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen - were quick to paw back.

"We've got the most popular items in the market for Christmas," began Quantico Tactical's Jacob Edwards, general manager. "We sell a good selection of guns, ammunition, tactical equipment, magazines and survival gear, and our prices are untouchable."

He pointed out the 5.11 Tactical Gear, clothing, various holsters, and gun grips as he walked through a large showroom.

"Our biggest seller are magazines," he emphasized, "and our prices are the best anywhere and will not be changing."

Edwards also said that the Magpul line of products is very popular with customers.

"This is a great seller, and their line of products makes for great gifts," he said.

Santa's list of those who've been good this year could fill up quickly at Quantico Tactical.

"No one else in town can compete with our LE and military pricing," concluded Edwards.  "And if we don't have what you're looking for, we'll get it."

Santa's elves report, however, that being good also means being right.

With the motto "Do What's Right Because It's Right," Tactical Tailor provides St. Nick with a sleigh full of items.

"Whether it's for military, law enforcement or just outdoor enthusiasts, we will have something worth checking out," explained Hobbs.

He listed presents such as magazine pouches, chest rigs, plate carriers, Malice Packs, medic bags, best and accessories.

Christmas shoppers shopping for that particular person can also place special orders.

"We have a fully functioning custom shop for orders that are in line with our products," added Hobbs.

There's no "Bah Humbug" here.

Although Tactical Tailor does not offer a selection of firearms, it does refer customers to Grey Ghost Precision (www.greyghostprecision.com), an affiliate to Tactical Tailor.

"If this Christmas calls for something a little more fun, then Grey Ghost Gear has a line of rifles that is gaining popularity in the market," said Hobbs. "Check out our website; shoppers will find a wide range of prices for everything they need."

Rudolph's nose glowed red with anticipation of delivering gifts like these.
