What started last year as simply a good-looking good idea has blossomed into a steamy tradition people have come to love and clamor for. Since the publication of last year's inaugural "Tacoma's Most Sexy Issue," we've heard three things constantly:
Number one: That was awesome!
Number two: Hey, jerks! You should include Olympia!
And number three: That was really awesome!
So, like any publication worth its salt, we listened to the masses. We're back with Year Two of the sexy-ass experiment that is the Weekly Volcano Sexy Issue, and this year we've covered (and uncovered) the sexiest of the sexy from Tacoma to Olympia and all parts in between.
Or, to be more accurate, you have. Throughout the month of May you voted in our drop-dead-sexy 2011 Sexy Issue Readers' Poll, selecting the South Sound's hottest folks in a number of important categories, from bartender to barista, from mom to athlete, and from real estate agent to drummer. The results you'll find within are your doing. The people have spoken.
What's been uncovered? No, this is not just a localized version of Maxim Magazine printed on a birdcage liner. This isn't smut ... or, at the very least, it's not malicious smut. The aim of the Sexy Issue is to shine a light on our area's "sexiest" people, and we're talking about an idea far bigger than mere looks. We're talking about the qualities and faces that make our home so damn attractive, dare we say beautiful.
We're talking about real people. We're talking about you. Face it, South Sound. You're fucking hot.
And these winners are PARTICULARLY hot. Let us celebrate the sexiness that abounds with the Weekly Volcano's 2011 Sexy Issue.
