If so, Washington state has places along the Pacific Ocean, amongst the mountain ranges, in the National parks, on islands, near the beach, with views of whales, lighthouses, the Seattle skyline, and beautiful lush gardens.

Before you check out a destination check the Web site for reservation and pass requirements, as well as amenities, and prohibited items.  Be sure to check seasonal updates on all locations.  Many of these picnic hot spots are located in the mountains and have snow on the roads until as late as July.
