Description: JBLM Airmen and Soldiers are invited to Tacoma's first running of the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Run. Cities across the country have mirrored an annual New York City run held by Tunnel to Towers Foundation to honor the final heroic footsteps of FDNY Firefighter Stephen Siller, and all of the first responders and service members who sacrificed their lives on 9/11. The Run will start and finish at the site of the Retired Fireboat along Ruston Way. An antique fire engine will lead the runners from the starting line with lights and sirens.

Tunnel To Towers has partnered with Gary Sinise and his Lt. Dan Band to build smart homes for amputees wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan. This is a cause which supports soldiers and honors their sacrifice. Please make a team and join the run!!!
