Meryl Streep is flawless in a biopic about British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and her rise to power from humble origins as "the grocer's daughter from Grantham." Director Phyllida Lloyd and writer Abi Morgan seem to have little clear idea of what they think about her, or what they want to say. She's all dressed up with nowhere to go. - Two stars
