JZ Rose: Beautiful store in Yelm a travel destination

At the end of a nice ride in the country to Yelm, there is a store worth stopping in to take a look.

Make that an extended look.

Located at 207th 1st Street South, JZ Rose is a unique and innovative store that offers visitors a high quality inventory of both domestic and foreign goods.

"We carry everything from around the world," Gregory Platt, manager, said as he polished a silver tray to a brilliant shine.

"When customers walk in here, they walk into a place that makes them feel good."

In what started as a camping store 23 years ago, JZ Rose's 4,000 square feet of space contains everything from designer perfumes, textiles and antiques to MacKenize-Childs hand-painted ceramics, furniture and a wall of hard-to-find books.

Outside of items made in the United States, goods made in France and England predominate.

The French chocolates looked delicious; the coffees and teas smelled divine.

"We offer a beautiful selection of unique items," Platt continued.  "Our customer service is unsurpassed; you will find goods here that you will not find in a mall; and you don't have to travel to France to find these goods."

Traveling to JZ Rose is worth the trip and a second - and perhaps more - look.

"We're unique and we will make your trip here worth your while," Cindy St. John, an employee, said.

"You will not be disappointed."

JZ Rose is open for business on Monday through Saturday from 10am to 6 pm.  For more information, call (360) 458-4618, email jz-rose@jz-rose.com or visit www.jz-rose.com.
