After just three years of digging their shoes into the dirt and establishing themselves as an Olympia fan favorite, Full Moon Radio are calling it quits. Though the split seems as amicable as something so shitty can be, it'll still be a bummer to see them go. Rather than immediately disappearing from sight, though, the trio has four more shows left with which to rock the hearts and minds of the South Sound, including their final show at Music and Art in Wright Park in the summer. For those oddly in the dark, Full Moon Radio consists of three badass women who shred punk-infused alt-rock that surges with a muscularity and melodicism not always common in the indie scene of Olympia. It's rock that drives headlong into your ear-holes. This show is also the release party for their new and final cassette.

FULL MOON RADIO, w/ Bullets or Balloons, the Mona Reels, 9:30 pm, McCoy's Tavern, 418 Fourth Ave. E., Olympia, $3, 360.352.0696
