You can stick your American Horror Story, stuff your Walking Dead and ram your Grimm where the sun don't shine. There is one monster that has begun to stalk us daily - the chittering, flea-infested, nut-clutching, buck-toothed, beady-eyed demon-beast of the increasingly denuded urban treetop: our satanic friend the squirrel. You've probably noticed the little buggers getting extra excited-fornicating, fighting, chasing each other and squealing with devilish glee as they scurry hither and thither in frenzied pursuit of their demonic master plan. Haven't you felt the sheer visceral thrill of squirrelishness crackling in the air like some sort of evil rodent electricity? Don't believe us? Head to Northwest Trek Wildlife Park this weekend. Sure, it's Kids ‘N' Critters weekend at the wildlife park, and you'll see bison, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, moose and deer roaming the 435-acre park. But, keep an eye out for those evil squirrels during your 30-minute tram rides. Bonus: Up to four children 12 and younger will be admitted free to Northwest Trek with each paying adult over the long Presidents Weekend. Expect story times, special workshops, moose crafts ... and squirrels.

KIDS ‘N' CRITTERS, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 14-Monday, Feb. 16, Northwest Trek Wildlife Park, 11610 Trek Dr. E., Eatonville, free for kids, $19.75 adults, 360.832.6117
