Saturday, Feb. 7: Drive The Blues Away

LeMay-America's Car Museum

By Volcano Staff on February 2, 2015

Unless we're talking about people with actual chest hair, no one loves beer, booze, blues and Buicks more than the Weekly Volcano. We're willing to bet that the vast majority of celebrants at "Drive the Blues Away," a celebration of beer, booze, blues  and automobiles at LeMay - America's Car Museum, are male. But don't let that stop you womenfolk from chugging some Red Hook and Narrows Brewing beer, sipping booze from 2bar Spirits, Heritage Distilling Co., Sidetrack Distillery, Magnolia Moonshine Cocktails and Glass Distillery, chowing down on grub from Pacific Grill as you listen to Little Bill & The Blue Notes, the Kim Archer Band and James King and the Southsiders. Bonus: Gibson Guitars will be in the house, allowing you to test drive acoustic and electric guitars. Oh, then there are the 300-plus classic, collectible and vintage vehicles spanning more than 110 years - but that's a given.

DRIVE THE BLUES AWAY, 7 p.m. to midnight, 21+, LeMay - America's Car Museum, 2702 E. D St., Tacoma, $40 (six drink tokens), $65 VIP tickets (eight drink tokens and gifts), 253.779.8490
