Thursday, Jan. 15: Combinator

The Swiss Restaurant and Pub

By Volcano Staff on January 12, 2015

They do have the funk. Seattle's Combinator are old-school Red Hot Chili Peppers in training socks, minus the gonzo edge but with a jazz-pop buzz fueled by improvisation. Born in Seattle in early 2013 when long-time musical co-conspirators Isaac Chirino and Sean Fairchild were introduced by mutual friends to the recent New York transplant and guitarist wunderkind, Greg Pascale, by the end of the year their first EP, Vice & Passion, was on the street. So if the world is stressing you out, Combinator will make you want to light it up and lay it down.

COMBINATOR, 8:30 p.m., The Swiss Restaurant and Pub, 1904 S. Jefferson Ave., Tacoma, no cover, 253.572.2821
