As we take to the outdoors with friends and family this Memorial Day weekend to enjoy meat smoking on the grill, sun shining on our faces, taking dips in the pool and the other finer points of life, let us not forget the men and women who have died on our behalf so that we may enjoy such times. The Evergreen State College will hold a remembrance roll-call commemoration honoring the U.S. military men and women of all races, faiths, and nationalities who have died serving in the global war on terror. There will also be an exhibit of names of all of the U.S. military fatalities since the start of the war. Both are open to the public.
