Sunday, March 9: Magical Strings

Olalla Community Hall

By Volcano Staff on March 3, 2014

Something about this time of year - it makes plaid cool. It makes bagpipes cool. Pale, hairy, muscular men in skirts with no underwear?  Too far?  Because St. Patrick's Day is this month, Pam and Philip Boulding, the husband and wife foundation of Magical Strings, will bust out the Celtic harps and hammered dulcimers for an afternoon of Celtic tunes without someone throwing up green beer. Hear (and see) the strings; see (and hear) the impromptu dancing of the Olalla Community Hall crowd, not to mention the incredible voices these two have honed since 1978.

MAGICAL STRINGS, 2 p.m., Olalla Community Hall, 12970 Olalla Valley Road, $10-$15, 253.857.5604
