Like emotions? Like, REALLY like emotions? Then you just might go nuts for the "Got Opera? Arias, Duets, and Ensembles." University of Puget Sound voice faculty members Michael Delos, bass-baritone; Christina Kowalski, soprano; Kathryn Lehmann, alto; Dawn Padula, mezzo-soprano; and guest artist Gino Luchetti, tenor will bust out big operatic singing, adding a lot of comedy and a dash of drama. "We will be singing highlights out of the comedic opera The Bat, by Johann Strauss, Wagner's Tannhäuser, Donizetti's The Elixir of Love, and Delibes' famous Lakme duet, among many other fun and entertaining pieces," says soprano Kowalski, who is known for the unique dark timbre of her voice - her "glowing heights and warm depths" have excite audiences in the U.S.A. as well as in Europe. {WV}
