Hop head. Sounds like a euphemism for a speed addict, no? Or a professional pogo stick stunt artist. Maybe a bunny-loving furry. Well, it's none of those things. Hops go in beer, and hop heads like 'em bitter. Meet some Saturday, April 7 on National Beer Day. The Harmon Taproom will be hosting an all day event celebrating said day with door prizes and giveaways, a cool / crazy / interesting hat contest, $3 pints all day, a special food menu and the debut of its spring seasonal Rajahs Royal IPA on draft and on cask. For hop heads, the Stadium District brew house will offer its Brown's Point ESB on the Randall device with centennial hops and oak wood chips. Harmon brewers will hang from noon to 3 p.m.
