There are few people the Tacoma Public Library could have taped for a series of workshops focusing on the art and business of hip-hop than Quincy Henry, better known behind the mic as Q-Dot. A local entertainer and event producer with a full resume of impressive feats, Q-Dot will kick off his series of hip-hop workshops for ages 13-20 at the downtown Main Library Thursday with instruction titled, "Hip-Hop Music as an Art Form." Subsequent workshops include instruction on how to get your songs heard and why education is important. The class kicks off at 2 p.m., and registration is required.
