Thursday, April 1: Philip Glass

Washington Center

By Volcano Staff on April 1, 2010

To be blunt, it's not often that you get the chance to see a legendary composer bust out an evening of their own, groundbreaking, work. Most legendary composers, after all, are dead. But Philip Glass is not - and on Thursday he'll be at the Washington Center in Olympia for an evening of expert, solo piano recital. Expect Glass' most recent work, as well as plenty of classics. Also, expect to be floored.

[Washington Center, 7:30 p.m., $29.50-$41.50, all ages, 512 Washington St SE, Olympia, 360.753.8586]
