Matt Driscoll's mom always regretted not taking him to see the Grateful Dead on the band's last tour stop in Seattle before Jerry died. What she wasn't banking on is Driscoll already dug American Beauty, and that was as far as any Dead preoccupation was going to take him. Sunday, Dark Star Orchestra will be in Olympia dishing out their, well-oiled take on the greatest jam band of all time. Chances are, Driscoll's mom never thought it would come to this.
