She honed her skills with long stints as a publicist, event promoter, festival planner, artist agent and restaurant/nightclub general manager. In 2003, she capitalized on her writing skills by landing a freelance editorial position with the Weekly Volcano, covering everything from music, art and fashion to food, dining, fitness and the social scene. With 15-plus years of experience in the Hospitality, Entertainment and Service Industries, Johnson is passionate about exceptional cuisine and the art of creating it. She also loves a good workout.
