Griffin Keely

Snapped him at Wright Park

There is no denying that it is absolutely freezing, beyond freezing. It's miserably cold. But more amazing than the icy cold fingers of sleet and snow wrapping around your throat, choking the warm breath out of you, is how the frozen world of Tacoma seems unprepared for this weather.

Griffin Keely, grad student at the University of Washington in Seattle, is studying to be a doctor of audiology (every Jewish mother's dream — especially mine). I spotted him lingering at Tacoma's Wright Park looking hot in his laid-back style, but certainly not warm. He shivered in a gray, thin-as-a-sheet T-shirt designed by Tank Theory and purchased at a boutique in Bellingham along with low slung Tommy Jeans from Macy's held up by a belt from Abercrombie & Fitch.

He slid his feet into supercool kicks done by Sanuk and sold at Zumies.

He completes his overall look with an attempt at keeping warm in a fuzzy fleece jacket done by Columbia from Ruggs Ranch Hunting Club.

We give Keely props on his sizzlin' good looks and rockin' style that's almost hot enough to melt the icicles dangling off of every tree and street lamp and urge the rest of Tacoma to bundle up a bit more so we all don't end up as frozen statues in the upcoming icy weeks.
