It's time to start holiday shopping. Everyone's seen the Christmas tree village that’s been lingering outside of Macy's a few months too long, but the rest of Tacoma's boutiques have now caught up with the holiday spirit. I can't wait for the sweet aroma of mom's home made sticky buns-waking me up to a stocking packed full of goodies, and packages glistening like fresh snow.

Due to the recent struggles in the economy some of us (me and almost everyone I know) might only be getting a stocking this year. So lets make those stockings count!

Ever After in downtown has awesome stocking stuffers, that won't destroy your budget. Jessica Turner, an Ever After employee looked cute and casual showing me everything from Jonas Brother tees to heavenly scented candles-that might even beat out ma's sticky buns. There is something here for everyone. Turner wore a tee from Ever After, zip up from Aeropostal, and Jeans from Old Navy.

Ever After is now having recycle bag Tuesdays. Bring in one of their signature bags on a Tuesday and receive 10 percent of your entire purchase.

There is also Free Friday, buy three things and get the fourth item of equal or lesser value free. How's that for helping your wallet?

Be sure to get your stocking stuffing fill at Ever After, or at Everafterstore.com.
