Sydney and Maya

Snapped her at Art and Soul

In Washington, not many things can beat a great cup of coffee. The sweet rich smells, the creamy caramel colored crème on top of the perfect shot of espresso, and the warmth that radiates throughout your body with every sip.

There is a Starbucks on practically every corner, but one coffee shop offers something more than just a superb cup of java — The Proctor district's Art and Soul.

Sisters Sydney, 8, and Maya, 6, were having a blast at this quaint cafe and pottery painting studio. The two glam girls looked radiant showing off their bright smiles and fashion sense while painting a clay jewelry box and elephant. And for people with a little less artistic talent then these sisters, there are idea and design books available to help you create your own unique piece of pottery.

Sydney's sleek blond tresses were pulled back with a pink headband that matched her baby pink shirt from Limited Too. Her plaid pink skirt, also from Limited Too, gives her a distinguished vibe and complements her black mary-jane shoes from Nordstrom.

Maya was ravishing in her Roxy skirt from Nordstrom and hand-me-down shirt purchased in Mexico. She finishes off her low key style with flip-flops from Libby Lu.

Come kick back and relax at Art and Soul with the whole family.
