Every Tuesday in July the Puyallup café and wine bar hosts a beach party on its patio featuring a beach appetizer menu, summer cocktails, and beach blanket trivia with prizes.   • Doyle’s Public House will host a Christmas In July celebration featuring Delirium Noel 2006 and 2007 along with Gouden Carolus Noel, plus prize drawings, July 25 from 5-8 p.m. Get your jollies at 208 St. Helens Ave. in Tacoma.

  • The Dockside Bistro offers half-off wine glass pours if you can Name That Grape every Thursday. Go for it at 501 Columbia N.W. in downtown Olympia.

  • Pour At Four features wines from Rioja during July. Check it out at 3814 N. 26th St. in Tacoma.

  • The Sea Grill in downtown Tacoma hosts an Ash Hollow wine dinner Thursday, July 31 at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $125 per person. Reserve your spot at 253.272.5656.

Eat 101


  • Primo Grill hosts a Savory Dishes of Spain class Saturday, July 26, 2-4 p.m. The cost is $65, which includes recipes and instruction, lunch with a glass of wine, tax and gratuity. Give them a buzz at 253.383.7000 to reserve.
