Ha! I escaped from my pirate captors, which was easy. I’m the youngest and spryest on this Weekly Volcano staff.

There is no place more beautiful than Tacoma in the summer. With the mountains, water and lush green trees dusting the landscape, it’s no wonder that Tacoma has become a popular travel destination for many people. Dina Biblarz, visiting from New York, was enjoying herself with family and friends at a summer solstice party, celebrating the good weather that has finally arrived. She looked stunning and stylish, as most New Yorkers would, in a low key black and white dress lined with gold piping to make the pattern pop — from Anthropologie. Biblarz, who works for InStyle magazine, has all the hot scoops for upcoming trends and fashion tips. She wears black flats by Steve Madden and purchased at the Steve Madden Store to tone down the bold look of the dress. She tops off her entire look with an amazing slouchy boho Marc by Marc Jacobs bag from Bloomingdales and diamond earrings she received as a gift from her father.

While in Tacoma, Biblarz has enjoyed many different local venues, but her favorite place to grab a snack had to be Marlene’s Market and Deli Natural Foods, located by the Tacoma Mall. She loved the earthy vibe and felt reminded of the trendy small markets in Manhattan. Biblarz brings hip East Coast fashion to the Northwest and looks fabulous doing it.
