At last Saturday’s two-year anniversary party at the Tempest Lounge, all eyes softened when they saw Roxanne Murphy, the PR bitty from the city, in this sweet Chinese dress.



She calls this look “Asian up the Indian” (her mother’s side of the family is from the Nooksack Tribe just outside of Bellingham).



She scored the dress on a Web site called Ancient Moods, and her intentionally-simple heels are from Steve Madden.



She had to don a Limited tank top underneath the dress because, as she put it, “Most Asian women don’t have big boobs,” which is why she couldn’t button all the way up, but looked completely natural.



Her French tips and her red toes are courtesy of Angel Nails on Tacoma’s Eastside. Her only makeup was red Almay lipstick and gloss, some Loreal mascara and a little Maybelline powder.

Her thick native hair is clipped by Embellish Multispace Salon.



The bling rings that she wears are from Tiffany’s, a one-of-a-kind wedding set that her grandmother left her, and two Ellensburg Blue rings.



She was also sure to mention that her sun-kissed skin comes from tanning once a week at Urban Tanning Spa.



She loves supporting local businesses, and we had to high five her for the eye candy that resulted.
