Fashion is such a broad topic. There are clothing fashions, jewelry fashions, shoe, home décor, hats, bags and makeup fashions. Trends come, trends go (some trends we couldn’t wait to see go … Spandex bike shorts with oversized T-shirts, anyone?).



There’s one hot lady in town who seems to always have her finger on the pulse of local and international fashion trends, and that’s Patricia Lecy-Davis of Embellish Multi-space Salon. Lecy-Davis coordinates with Paula Malone of South Sound Bridal Magazine and other local folks possessing oodles of talent to present Revel, a holiday season kickoff event Sunday.



“Right when people walk in the door, they’re going to be hit with a mélange of scents, sounds and scenery,” explains Lecy-Davis.



The Sunday afternoon event presents a chance to revel in all that Tacoma has to offer — services, designers, shops, artists, performers. Non-traditional color scheme will be featured this year. Goodbye red and green Christmas, hello magenta, silver and bright yellow!



It’s loaded with entertainment. Dragonfish Killswitch provides lounge music and On The Rocks gives a cabaret and drag performance. urbanXchange will outfit guys and girls with serious holiday wear and personal flair. The Embellish girls reveal new hairstyles and showcase True Mineral makeup. Nibble Stadium Bistro treats while sipping Vin Grotto wines.
