The Weekly Volcano’s work is never done (or appreciated). Not only do we painstakingly plan out your evening itinerary, lazybones, but we’re also required to unearth activities that appeal to all personality types. Today, our little spotlight dance focuses on two categories of people: saints and cheapskates.

Saints, because you’re nice to small, furry animals; you get to go first. Your activity is a benefit for people suffering from Leukemia or Lymphoma. The Harmon Brewery and Restaurant will host a fundraiser in support for spreading awareness of these illnesses Monday, July 30.  The Tacoma Fire Fighters and nurses from Mary Bridge (we smell a hook-up) will collect donations and spread the word about the illnesses. KZOK morning host Casey will drop by.  There will be a silent auction of 10 gift baskets.  And a raffle will be held every 30 minutes from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Don’t worry, cheapskates, the Weekly Volcano hasn’t forgotten about you. Your event is a $3 steak and fries deal all day Monday, July 30 at Harmon Brewery & Restaurant with the proceeds benefiting …

Wait a minute!  Someone’s saint in in our cheapkate.
