Hair Chat goes Girl Talk

Hanging at The Nail Shoppe

How is it I’ve not yet been into Girl Talk/The Nail Shoppe/ As It Is?

The three businesses share a space, with Stephanie Wilson owning Girl Talk, Stephanie’s husband owning As it Is, and Cortney Young owning The Nail Shoppe.

Since I’ve had snaggle-toe issues, I called recently. And since the stars were in alignment and the gods were smiling on me, I got a last minute appointment, a rare feat as the girls usually book out about three weeks. (You need to play Lotto! Cortney advised me.) I tried once to walk in, and after that found it easier to just go to the corner nail shops for pedicures.

But I discovered the girl talk is good at the Nail Shoppe at Girl Talk. Chattin’ in the space while breathing and relaxing and meeting … so nice.  So fun. Toes and feet are now so good, without any fear of pesky issues that could potentially come of scary not-clean pedicure implements.

And I’ve made new friends.

I’m calling tomorrow to book my next appointment.

And I’m not looking for close-toed shoes anymore.

And I get to chat.

Whee!
