A tight cut

Tight Cuts opens in Tacoma

By Jessica Corey-Butler on July 26, 2007

That highly anticipated day happened — when the choir of angels sang and the significant one got to have his hair cut by a hot chick in leather at Tight Cuts the day they opened their Tacoma location.

Having me hanging around, camera in hand, asking questions, did much to kill his general appreciation of the event, but his comments were all positive, starting with his appreciation of the décor and ending with his enjoyment of a good haircut.

Like a good partner, I sensed he’d like some him-time (and our kid was waiting at school for me), so I left him to his own devices for the hair wash and massage, which followed the cut: from a man who’s accustomed to showering after every cut to rid himself of baby fine bits of hair all over his body, this feature garnered a “sweet.”

As for the massage I missed? My gut tells me he liked it; my eyes tell me that the cut was worth it.

Cuz it’s tight, man.
