Summer fun and fashion with a significant message

Women’s Connections fashion show

Every Third Thursday, while Art Walk takes over the downtown Tacoma streets, a Puyallup event also transpires that seeks to connect women with a more spiritual purpose.

What used to be the Puyallup After 5 Christian Women’s group is now Women’s Connections, seeking to bring women of faith together once a month for a nondenominational open program with food and entertainment.

The next event is set to happen on June 21, the first day of summer.

To celebrate that event, summer fashion will join the entertainment, as Auburn’s Rottles Clothing and Shoes puts on a style show for those present.

Also on tap for the evening will be music by Emily Emerson and a speech by Margaret Roller, author of “Living Significantly.”
