creepy theater

The creepy movie that made Audrey Hepburn a superstar — “Wait Until Dark” — takes to the Tacoma Little Theatre stage starting this weekend. The play follows the story of a blind woman who finds herself in the sights of drug runners who think she has possession of a doll stuffed with drugs.

[Tacoma Little Theatre, through May 6, 8 p.m. Friday-Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday, $16-$20, 210 N. I St., Tacoma, 253.272.2481]

hot times

“Cat on a Hot Tin Roof,” the American classic that has nothing to do with the abuse or abandonment of felines, is being staged at Olympia Little Theatre. “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” is Tennessee Williams\'s vision of the South where he grew up, a damp, hot, evil place roiling with repressed sexuality, greed and hypocrisy.

[Olympia Little Theatre, through May 13, 7:55 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, 1:55 p.m. Sunday, $10, 1925 Miller Ave. N.E., Olympia, 360.786.9484, www.olympialittletheater.org]
