Hem dresses

They show a little skin

By Jasmine Johnson on March 8, 2007

The fashion news inside Lucky magazine screams frilled-hem dresses. No mystery — they have a ruffled bottom and draped sleeves. It’s a gorgeous, detailed, soft, and feminine looking dress. They come in different styles and colors — from a sheer, flattering look with a low neck to a dropped neckline. I like the low neckline because in the winter I can wear a flattering turtleneck underneath, and then add a high, thick waist belt and knee-high boots. In the summer and spring I don’t have to worry about showing too much skin because the neckline is low enough to show only a little skin, and I can wear my tall four-inch sandals to give my hem dress that edgy look, topping it off with a blue jean half jacket. It’s a baby doll that anyone who really loves fashion could easily pull off.
