If you thought the television show was funny, wait until you see what they do when the FCC isn’t watching.

When I first heard that Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood of “Who’s Line is it Anyway?” were scheduled to appear in Tacoma on April Fools’ Day, I thought maybe it was a cruel April Fools’ joke. Can you imagine arriving on April 1 to find the Pantages all locked up tight with a sign that says “No show tonight! April Fools’!” Of course, our friends at Broadway Center would never do that to us, but April Fools’ Day always makes me a little paranoid.

Paranoia aside, the “Evening with Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood” show is a guaranteed night full of sidesplitting humor that is perfectly befitting its scheduled date and time. At this show you can expect spontaneous interactive merriment, where audience members are asked to provide ideas to fuel the improvisational sketches.

Mochrie has been making a delightful mockery of comedy improv since 1986. He appeared in the British and the American versions of the television show “Who’s Line is it Anyway?”  He is also highly recognizable as the Nabisco snack fairy, a character he plays in a national television commercial who dons a tutu and distributes low calorie snacks to rotund middle-aged women who often mistake him for an exotic dancer.

Sherwood appeared on “The Drew Carey Show” in addition to the American and British versions of “Who’s Line.” He has appeared on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” 100 times, and he has made guest appearances and guest host appearances on shows such as VH-1’s “I Love The 80’s” and “90’s” and “Talk Soup.”
